Access denied problem

For some reason Win 7 denies access to some files I have created when trying
to open the files for read/write. A check of Properties/Security shows I
(one and only Administrator) have full permission to do anything. How does
one get around this problem of Windows attempt to save the world from
everything? And please don't suggest Linux - at 79 I am too old to learn yet
another system!

Thanks for any help resolving the problem.

You have another account on that folder name Users (name of
computer)users -- make it match the permissions of the admin account.
You are admin, and you are also User.

What is the full path, of the folder with this problem ?

Are you opening a file, right under C:\ ?

Thanks much. That seems to resolve the issue.

Thanks, but the above replay seems to resolve the issue.

Thanks much. That seems to resolve the issue.
But you shouldn't need to do that UNLESS you are trying to create these
files in a location to which your User account does NOT have full
read/write access...in which case why are you creating files in that
location in the first place?
