Some torrent sites are listing 7100.0.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700 for download already, is there a way to tell if it's real?

It's on mininova with filename 7100.0.090421-1700.x86fre.client.en-us.Retail.Ultimate-GRC1CULFRER.EN.DVD.iso and is 2.58GB in size.

Looks like TPB's captcha is down for registration, as I was going to post a link back here so they know it's a fake. I guess they'll find out soon though once people start to report back. 623 leechers and counting after just 1 hour!

Now that people know the build string there will be a lot of fakes about. I wouldn't trust any of them until Microsoft release it to us for real, it's not that much longer to wait after all.

Yes, 7100 is now real. Legit torrents went online at about 2:15 AM EST.

Still remains to be seen if this is actually the RC.

Ok. I stumbled upon the 7100 build torrent and gave it a pull. Have both the 32 and 64 bit builds. The string goes
7100.0.090421-1700_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULXFER_EN_DVD

replace 86 with 64 for that version as well.

Now, I had version 7077 on my test rig and I did an upgrade from that to 7100. I was under the impresson that the RC would not allow an incremental upgrade - it was supposed to need a complete wipe and load or upgrade from Vista. Either way, this one worked.
WINVER does show Windows 6.1 -7100
no mention of an RC in the string or on the WINVER.
