x86 is 32-bit processing (The term "x86" came to being because the names of several successors to the Intel's 8086 processor ended in "86", including 80186, 80286, 80386 and 80486 processors.)
x64 is short for x86-64 (which means x86 instruction set is still present with the addition of 64-bit extensions)
