wireless adapter registry corrupted

What is the make of your adapter? Do you have the drivers for it? If possible download the latest drivers for it and install them.

If your registry is corrupted you normally have 3 options: try a restore point prior to the issue (if available), create a new user account and try your wireless adapter there then if it all works move all your data to the new acct & start using that instead, or reinstall windows (from an image if available, otherwise a complete reinstall)
