Windows Live Mail Troubles

Hi...Not sure if I am posting in the right place...Using Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 PC, just opened Live Mail on my desktop and ALL my deleted items & sent items are gone...it appears all the deleted items are now UNREAD and in now located in my INBOX, but all SENT items are 100% gone? How is this possible?
Thanks for any input you can provide...
