Windows live mail 2012 newsgroups

Hello,
In my windows live mail 2012 program I want to use the newsgroup function but it is greyed out. It is in menu far left tab then options. How do I get it un-greyed. Thanks

Hi Vince, have you added a news server already (from the Tools > Accounts menu - you can press ALT+T to bring up the tools menu)?

I am new at this but I have not added one yet. I followed your instructions and a window pops up telling me has my ISP provided a NNTP or newsgroup for me. They have not and I don't know how they would. Do I have to contact them? Thanks vince

What's your ISP and we can see if there's some manual NNTP details you can enter :).
