Is that really all of the information you have and that you're willing
to share? I hope someone can help you, but you don't make it easy.

Well, I'm sure you'll agree here, it's best done by Microcenter. Take it
back.

You sound as if you don't have much experience of installing operating
systems. Don't dive in with such a serious problem; take it back.

Thats why I had them do it. It would be just my luck to let the SMOKE
out of the BOX!
The first machine I ever had was equiped with RESTORE!
As long as I didn't drop it down the stairs it would be restored to
the way it was the day I bought it.
I still have that Compaq Presario 7180 with Win95.
