I have disabled sleep mode on a PC running Windows 7 Professional but it continues to go to sleep. Actually, I have disabled all settings that I could think of in the power and advanced settings. After I changed the settings for user 'A', I checked user 'B' and 'Administrator' and the settings have persisted. My question is are the power settings that I changed for user 'A' still in effect if user 'A' logs out and nobody else has logged in? Screen saver is invoked for user 'A' and login is necessary? System is rebooted and nobody has logged in yet? This PC is connected via wireless USB adapter. After the computer goes to sleep the wireless connection has to be reset which is causing major headaches. Thank you in advance.
