Windows 7 missing Boot Files

Im trying to fix a friends computer and it seems the BOOT files are missing. When I turn the Computer on it goes to where I can enter BIOS mood but when I let it go to boot it just goes to a black screen. Im not sure how to put the BOOT files back on there.

Boot from the windows 7 disc and select repair option run command prompt from there.
type
Bootrec.exe /fixmbr and press enter
or
Bootrec.exe /fixboot and press enter( writes a boot sector to the system partition)
or
bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd and press enter (scans all disks for windows installation and prompts you to pick the ones you want to add to the BCD(
