Where are old wifi connection stored in Win 7?
If it stores all of them, my list must be near 100.

where did it ask about the password? Which is what your link refers too.
the question deals with the list maintained by windows 7 that shows up when
you click on the network icon.
Yousuf's link got me to the wifi list
and I cleaned the list out.

richard, until you learn the basics about computers, perhaps it's best
you stick to asking questions, not attempting to answer them.

Thanks Yousuf.
That enabled me to find the list and I cleaned out
a years worth of motels, airports, and wifi hotspots.
Sounds like a tawdry novel. :)

I know where that list is. The weird part is if you click on your router.
in my case, picture of house, between computer and internet globe is a
list of wireless routers. On my eee pc it shows a Zyxel access point.
On my Toshiba it shows about 5 routers.

I often wonder how that list is created. I live in an apartment complex
with 217 units and inssider shows many wireless routers in my area, but
not all show up in my first paragraph.

I haven't found anything Googling, but may be wrong search phrase.
