what is the best way to backup my drivers

i use to use driver talent, but am getting exacerbated by the program having a one use key. it's horrible. if i could remember to include it as part of my system image, it would be fantastic, but i always forget, and can never do it because i am having to contact the company and ask for a new key instead

then, my antivirus program is quarantining the software. geeez, it's like right out of 'the office', or 'dilbert'

is there a better program to back up my drivers ? i am going to reinstall my operating system, and can't remember if i have everything i will need, or if everything was working when i made my image
