Update problems

Since reinstall windows 7 ultimate on new HDD, Mb ,CPU ,8gb memory, PSU can't install windows updates & getting BSOD when i haven't seen since most of were proberly born. Have run the Microsoft KB847821 hotfix file which after running repeatly gives the one error message in CBS log
Unavailable repair files:
Rerunning windows update then gives the same error message 8007370B
SFC /Scannow wont run, gives 'windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation'
Tried to install SP1 from an ISO disk wouldn't work either can't remember error message ,am d/loading the SP1 file from the listing on forum & will try this when it finishes.
any assistance much appreciated.
