The SQL Server VSS Writer service failed

Hi,

the event viewer reports an ID:7000 for: The SQL Server VSS Writer service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.

How can I repair it?
I tried on more forums, nobody replied.

My PC is a Dell 1558 and the OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

This is not a Windows 7 issue it is a Microsoft SQL software issue and may be why you aren't having much luck on forums as you likely need a SQL administrator. But the basic solution, if it tells you the file is not found, is to reinstall Microsoft SQL.
