			Suddenly a Legitimate copy became -"Evaluation copy of Windows 7" ??

			In February 2010 I've bought in PCW (then) shop a legitimate
copy of Windows 7 Professional which I've installed (?) probably
over the evaluation copy of Win 7 then. Now suddenly I've
experienced quite unpleasant circumstances. First the
information started to appear saying that:
"Windows 7 evaluation copy. Build 7601."
Then;
"This is an evaluation copy of Windows 7.
Backup your data because Windows 7 will stop
working in two days." and so on...
Then suddenly "Windows 7 evaluation copy. Build 7601."
went into reboot twice so far.
Could that be a bug or case of installation
of Windows 7 Professional over the Beta
evaluation copy?
......
When I went to the "Activate" it says
that Activation was successful.
But the inscription in right bottom corner:
"Windows 7 evaluation copy. Build 7601." -
is still there.

			Assuming that you've been using it since February 2010 (modulo installing

SP1 earlier this year): at any time since you initially installed and
activated it, have you entered a new product ID? The same binary
installation can be used for different purposes, including time-limited
evaluations, all depending on the product key entered.

			Try this: open a command (CMD.EXE) window (it doesn't need privilege

elevation) and enter the command (shown in uppercase but it's
case-insensitive - and it's all on one line, and don't insert spaces where I
haven't placed them):
WMIC PATH SOFTWARELICENSINGPRODUCT WHERE (PARTIALPRODUCTKEY!=NULL) GET
DESCRIPTION,PARTIALPRODUCTKEY /VALUE

			You should get two lines of output, looking like this:

			Description=Windows Operating System - Windows(R) 7, XXXX PartialProductKey=kkkkk
where "XXXX" will identify what type of license was most recently
installed. One candidate for that will be "TIMEBASED_EVAL channel".

			and "kkkkk" will be the last five characters of the product ID currently

being used.

			As an experiment, try re-entering the product ID from the package you

purchased and repeat the activation procedure. If this doesn't solve your
problem, re-run the WMIC command shown above; if the description still says
"TIMEBASED_EVAL" and the PartialProductKey matches the last five characters
of the product ID you entered, then there's a possibility that you were sold
an evaluation copy. Call Microsoft's support center about this; they can
confirm if your product ID is in fact for an evaluation only.

Thank you,
THIS WAS WHAT I'VE GOT; ( where *** = user name)
Honestly, I need some interpretation of it, if you kindly can spare
a couple of minutes for me again. (Jdr)

BTW this retail package I've bought at Misco.co.uk and I exclude
any possibility that Misco could sell "an evaluation only" copy.
Thanks again and perhaps I should mention that fresh reinstallation
of this copy has no that symptomatic  inscription;
"Windows 7 Evaluation copy. Build 7601"
