Sound problem with XFX Motherboard 8200

Hi, I also got similar problem as the pipple9, I am now using XFX Motherboard 8200, there is no sound on my windows 7. The first time I installed the windows 7 i got sound, after few months then i reformated my windows due to viruses then 2nd time i install windows 7 then I got the sound problem. I have already try installed the right sound driver but it still dont have sound. Can anyone please help me solve it.

Hi HowJack - Welcome to w7forums

Have you checked in Device Manager to see if there is a yellow problem symbol on the sound drivers? Also have you checked for optional updates with Windows Update?
