Sony Vegas 9.0??

Well I recently tried to install a trial version to make sure Sony Vegas worked... and I tried 9.0, 9.0b, and 9.0c and they ALL did not want to work.

It's like omfg.

Anyhow.

The error I'm getting is:

Fatal Error!
Could not initialize installer settings.

So what do I do?
I tried running as admin, and using compatibility to XP SP 2, SP3, VISTA, VISTA SP1, VISTA SP2, and they did not work.

What should I do?

I'm sorry vipersrule.
I have never used Sony Vegas.

Have you tried disabling UAC? Sometimes UAC will interrupt software installations. Once install is finished if you choose to you can re-enable UAC.

UAC (User Access Control) can be found in the Action Center.
