Remove IE9?

IE is definitely integral part of WINDOWS Operating System.
It is not just an application. If you don't like to hear
this or if you don't like IE /per se/ then the easiest
solution is to start using Linux. I can't advice you in
Linux because as far as I am concerned it is for the
hobbyists and enthusiasts which I am neither.
With a nym such as 'Tester' ?

But I am
sure you know how to go about finding out about Linux
which, you will be glad to hear, comes without IE of any
flavours.
That's not to say you can't install and use IE in Linux under
WINE, however, who would want to do that ?

Remember when most of you all howled, (maybe not you) when I mentioned
that I did a restore to rid myself of IE9......
I'm still here Smart Arsed DummmmmmmmmieS!!!!!!!! Taking it all in...
Yuck... I have no problems using IE9, and I like it over Firefox that I
have on the machines too. Why I have FF I really don't know, since I am
not using it may be once a month if that. FF is not all of that not
even on my Droid where I never us it.

Please point me to a reference for an instance where a user of an
alternate browser got infected via IE because it was installed and
not ever used? I mean...maybe...but really...is this a problem? I
think not.
What's hysterical about all this is that IE is the safest browser of
all if properly set up and secured. I have to laugh at those who put
up with FireFox's problems thinking they're safer.

For those, here's what you need:

I generally advise people that IE is the least safe browser. I don't
know the reasons for sure, but part of it could be that it's not easy
to keep it properly set up and secured. I recommend Firefox or Chrome.

I have absolutely no problems at all with Firefox. What problems are
you referring to?

LOL! So what? That is really funny. I'll bet you'll walk into a wall.
Someone told you the wall was there prior to you walking into the wall.
You said "so what?" before you hit wall.

Did you read the name of this newsgroup? That's what!
I don't understand why MS is making IE a part of the OS. I don't like it
taking up space which could be used for something efficient.

Yeah, someone want to slight IE. But over the last few releases of IE,
it has become a solid browser on Win Vista and 7 with IE9 in
particularly. It's the best browser out there.

If they don't make it as part of the OS then intelligent people like you
would not even install it on their system; let alone using it. If it is
pre-installed on a brand new system then there are people out there who
think that that is the "internet". They don't know the difference
between an Internet and Internet browser. People haven't got a clue how
many other browsers are out there. even if they knew all of them, they
won't know how to install them.

But you are also a danger to young boys in the park who are otherwise
playing football or running about. It is because of people like you our
streets are no longer safe for children to play.

I was a little bored on Tuesday, so started a thread on
alt.windows7.general entitled "Remove IE9?".

I confess that I was trolling; and have no interest whatsoever in IE9 or
Windoze. I just got sick of all the wintrollmorons here.

It does seem to have been fairly successful, however.

HM.

How nice to know that it was malice and not the apparent stupidity :)

Thanks for the info.

I am an ASP.NET Web developer. MS has been very, very and very good to
me on making money developing ASP classic and ASP.NET Websites
professionally for American companies.

You post like the loon 7 over there in the insane asylum called COLA and
your comments don't mean anything to me -- nothing troll.
