Password doesn't work

so.... i shut off my system this morning and come ack an hour later and the password doesn't work. tried everything.... caps loc, installation disc/repair ( says its the wrong one but pretty sure it isn't) f5, f8 and so on....

please... how do i unlock this thing. i can't lose these files... i KNOW i was supposed to create a password recovery disc but didn't.... so i am doa here....

Sorry your not getting any help but if and when you get back to your files, i would get an external HD there cheap and keep all files on it not a good idea to use the computers HD.
