Running Win 7 64bit home Premium OS
Some time back -- I am not exactly sure when -- the System Sounds
stopped working ie the startup and shutdown jingles. Everything else is
ok and the "Play windows startup sound" box is ticked in the Sounds
Settings. Can anyone offer a solution to this problem.
Things like Malware and virus scans have been done as a matter of course
and all is clear.
