No Audio Output Device is installed.

Hello everyone,
I have had my Acer Aspire M3910 for nearly a year with Windows 7 64-bit and the speaker logo has suddenly got a red cross next to it and it comes up with, "No Audio Output Device is installed" I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's not working.
Has anyone got an idea of what to do and what driver I need?
