How do I permanently stop getting this warning: "Internet Explorer Has Stopped Workiing in internet explorer"?

You could try these Microsoft Fix-it's for Fix Internet Explorer add-on problems when IE hangs or freezes or Fix Internet Explorer issues to make IE fast, safe and stable

Or you may have add-ons installed that do not work properly so try it in safe mode and if necessary disable the offending add-on. Source.

But it could also be that the website you are visiting is poorly coded to work with the IE browser. It is a good idea to have an alternative browser or two installed. Consider installing Firefox or Chrome as a back-up.
