how to install service pack

hi my frens,,,,, what is service pack and what service packs are available for windows seven . ? if i want to download and the install the latest service pack then where can i get it and how to install?
remember my dear friends i have updated the windows last time and installed all the updates but when i checked the service pack then it didnt showed the service pack so help me please

Windows 7 is currently on Service Pack 1. Normally you should use the standard windows update (see their disclaimer under "Do not click download if you are updating just one computer") but if you do download it from HERE then get the right version. The version you need depends on whether you have 32-bit (windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe) or 64-bit (windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe).
