Aloha,
Yesterday I was attempting to copy all my files from my Dell desktop PC to a Seagate external hard drive. Instead it downloaded all my (over 8,000) files from my external hard drive to my desktop PC. Now my computer is very near to having no space on the c: drive. My computer is running slow. And the photos in the icons are not showing up. I have looked everywhere and cannot find these 8,000 files to delete them so I will have my space back on my c: drive on my PC desktop. They apparently are hidden and I've looked and clicked everywhere to try and find them. Can someone help me? Mahalo.

I have Windows 7

I tried this according to what I read on the internet:
(1) Control Panel
(2) Appearance and Personalization (THIS IS NOT AN OPTION LISTED UNDER MY CONTROL PANEL SO I HAVE TO STOP HERE]

(3) Folder Options
(4) View
(5) Under Advanced settings: Show hidden files folders, and drivers
(6) OK
