Help with USB install of 7

Hello!

In an effort to clear more space on my UX31E-DH52 I have decided that a fresh install of 7 is necessary. I have made back ups of the system already. I would like to install 7 from a thumb
drive, any tips would be AWESOME!

I advise AGAINST this! When you reinstall Windows, besides losing all your data, hardware drivers, installed programs (including security) and user customizations, you also set your computer back potentially YEARS in security updates and patches.

And with notebooks there is the problem that they tend to be very proprietary.

The FAR BETTER solution is for you to go through Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall any program you downloaded and installed that you no longer use. Then clean out the clutter with a good disk cleaner like CCleaner or Windows own Disk Cleanup. After that, run Defrag.

If you still don't have enough room, the better option is buy a bigger, or second drive.
