Hey everyone,

This has been happening shortly after I bought my PC, around 5-6 months. However, back then it seemed it only happened while playing games, certain games actually. So I reported this problem to the store, they asked me if I had my PC near a wood table or something of the sort, I said yes, and they said that could be the reason because of some whatthe**** reason I can't recall. So I took the PC to another place, and also replaced the CPU cooler meantime but turns out it's still happening. But now it's not only in games, it's anytime, I don't know what to do anymore.

I feel it's just pointless to contact the store again because they obviously don't know what's the problem either, hence why they told me that excuse.

I had a blue-screen today and the error was the following STOP: 0X0000003B

I've done the Memtest 86 test but no problems were found.
From what I've googled this seems to be a driver (mostly graphic's driver) related issue, I've no idea how to fix it anyway.

Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A88T-M USB/3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965BE 3.4ghz (Artic Freezer 13 CO cooler)
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 6850
RAM: AMD Performance Edition 4GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200rpm

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Here.

Just an update though, I've downloaded BlueScreenView and according to the program the "ntoskrnl.exe" driver is causing the problem.

Here's the report:

ntoskrnl.exe is the windows kernal so that isn't really the issue, it's just sort of a default when it doesn't know.

You are showing file versions of 6.1.7600. Update your Windows to SP1. The issue may well be the IEEE 1394 device connections on your MOBO and there was a hotfix for it in 2010 but it should have been included in Service Pack 1 along with a myriad of other fixes, so run Windows Update and install SP1 and see if the problem goes away.
