Enter Network Password

My desktop computer crashed and I installed a new hard drive and restored an image file. After setup when I try to connect to the laptop that I've connected to lots of times, NOW I get a prompt to "Enter Network Password". There is a third computer in my house. My laptop and desktop can each connect to this third computer but not to each other (without the prompt). I've never had a password on my system.
I've already unchecked the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Not sure what else to try.
Also: Desktop is Win 7 Pro and laptop is Win 7 Home Premium
