Hi folks

A friend of mine has a Acer mini PC which doesn't have a DVD drive only USB ports. It occurred to me that if things went wrong it would be difficult to troubleshoot. I would like to create a recovery disk on a USB Stick. Windows will only create to a DVD drive. It would be for Windows 7 Home Premium.

Apologies if this has be posted before...

A recovery disk or a copy of the W7 Home Premium ISO? Because Microsoft has a tool to put the ISO on a USB stick and make it bootable. A recovery disk is pretty generic. Is it something Acer software allows you to create? Or how are you trying to create it?

Yes you are correct and I have now managed to do that using the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
