SOLVED Can't access Server 2008 shares

My win 7 64 bit pc can't see our server in network browsing or map network drives from its shares.

I can ping it by ip address and name and telnet to it.

I have turned off the firewall on both machines and turned off IP6. I also uninstalled the AV software on the PC and ran the Norton software removal tool.

If I type in \\servername I get a Network Error popup that says Windows cannot access \\servername. Running the diagnosis doesn't return any suggestions.

Both server and pc are in the "Workgroup" workgroup and both use dhcp.

Have you seen if this HOTFIX applies to your situation?

Unfortunately, it doesn't. I'm not getting a password error. I can't connect at all.
