Hullo there, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post, I'm also a Silver Surfer Beginner.
Since installing W7 I have been unable to attach a photo to an email using
my MP Navigator/Canon Pixma MP210. Using Vista it was an automatic process. A pop-up box informs me that I have to re-adjust my mail ?
I am using Windows Live Mail Beta Version and previously I was using
Windows Mail. I cannot alter my mail user without help. What I really need are click by click instructions. Can anybody help, please ?

Hello shmendrik - Welcome to w7forums
  1. Open "Windows Live Mail"
  2. Click inside the body of the email. You will not have the Insert Image option otherwise.
  3. Then select (Insert > Image > Photo E-Mail)
  4. You can select one image or many images then press "Add".
  5. When you are finished adding images press "Done".

Canon Pixma MP210/Navigator

I have obviously not explained my problem correctly, allow me to try again.
I have already placed a photo on the platen to be scanned and want to attach it to an email to be sent as I have previously done when using Vista.
A page appears with several options, I click "attach to email"
To start the process I get to a box headed 'MPNavigator EX-MP210 series.
This box contains the settings necessary to reproduce the photo, and the
"Mail Settings" which is set for Windows Mail.
My problem is that I am using "Windows Live Mail" beta version, and cannot
make this option available to use and so cannot affix the attachment as
another box appears informing "Failed to send email. Check your Mail
Programme settings". I feel I need to point out that the attachment (photo)
is automatically attached, not manually.
Thank you for your patience, and I hope someone can assist.

Sorry shmendrik Ive not had any experience inserting images directly from a scanner to an E-Mail client. I wasn't aware it was even an option. Perhaps someone here would better serve you on this topic.

But before I leave you, I must ask if you installed the latest drivers for your All-In-One Printer. The drivers can be found here - PIXMA MP210 Drivers & Downloads - Select your OS for refined search.
