My new laptop has a bluray (why not blueray?) drive in it, and I am using Windows Vista and Windows 7 beta at the same time on it. Do I need to put any more software on Windows 7 to play a bluray disc or can I just use windows media player?

Thank you for your help

Yes, you'll need to use 3rd party software by the looks of it. If MS included a bluray license in Windows 7 it would cost about $30 per license

Bit of a shame that, as not only are you paying for the blueray disc you also need to pay for a software license just to play it :(
