Hi guys.
I receive this bsod everytime I try to stream tv using sky go.
the tv plays for only 2 or 3 minutes before the blue screen.

I have removed and replaced graphics card and memory modules.
Have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers for graphics card, reinstalled microsoft silverlight.
updated any other drivers i could find.

I have also performed windows memory diagnostic tool which found 0 errors.

Welcome to the W7Forums.

It appears that the problem is with Avast!
Please uninstall it and use the built in Windows Defender. Please make sure you update Windows Defender.

Could you please go to:
Start -> Right click on "Computer" -> Properties -> Advanced system Settings -> Startup and Recovery "Settings" button.
Please make sure that the "Write debugging information" is set to "Kernel Memory Dump"
Then reboot please.

  1. Download and run TDSSKiller.
    1. Accept the "End User License Agreement"
    2. Accept the "KSN Statement"
    3. Select "Change Parameters" and Select:
      • Verify file digital signatures
      • Detect TDLFS file system
      • Use KSN to scan objects
    4. When the scan is complete the log file is in C:\ It will have a name like "TDSSKiller.3.0.0.34_04.05.2014_08.05.16_log.txt"
  2. Install Malwarebytes (Free Version)
    1. Select "Threat Scan"
    2. When it is completed, please upload the log file from: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\Logs
  3. Please download and run Windows Defender Offline.
    1. Click "Next"
    2. Click "I Accept"
    3. Select Either: (Typically it is either CD/DVD or USB)
      • CD or DVD
      • USB
      • ISO file
    4. Cllick "Next"
    5. It will create a CD / DVD / USB and will boot and scan your hard drive offline.
  4. Download CPU-Z and run it.
    • Go to the "About" tab
    • Click on "Save Report (.TXT) and save it to your desktop.
    • Upload the text file to the forum.

Have you had any crashes since you removed Avast?

Ok a couple of things:
Driver Verifier is NOT on, please re-enable it.
Avast is still installed and possibly still causing crashes.

To Uninstall Avast!
  1. Uninstall Avast in Safe Mode using Avastclear, HERE
  2. Run Rejzors Uninstall Utility, found HERE, in Normal Mode (removes traces avastclear doesn't) - reboot.

Ran both utilities as requested.
turned on verifier and rebooted.
computer blue screened just before log on screen. tried again and same thing.
