Went to un-install WinDVD Creator 3 last night and lost both my DVD drives!
Device Manager reported that the drivers could not be loaded because they may be corrupt!
The files were still there so something in the Registry had become corrupt!

Had to boot off the DVD and do a Restore from Repair. That put them back!
Repair itself did not find anything wrong.
There did not appear to be the usual option of re-installing over the top?

The re-install over the top might not be there because it's a beta, but it seems strange how your DVD drives just vanished. Did you try uninstalling the drivers and then see if it can re-detect them ok?

At least it is working now :D

Yup, did that a couple of times Ian! Drives were correctly identified in Device Manager but drivers appeared corrupt!
As I said, I think it was a registry error, not corrupt drivers!
