Windows Updates for Win7?

C

charliec

Just checking to see if anyone have received updates for Win7 lately?
No problem to report, but haven't had an update since 1/9/13. So,
have anyone had updates since then? I have it set for automatic
notification.

Unless there is a critical patch that needs to be handled specially,
they get released by Microsoft once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the
month - called "Patch Tuesday". In February, that will be on the 12th.

The only updates I have had since 1/8/2013 are for Microsoft Security

Since there aren't too many people with the nick Zaphod Beeblebrox,
you most probably are the same Zaphod that I knew back in
alt.binaries.mac.games in the 90's along with Pinocle, Edtyre and the
others. Good to see an old familiar name. Good to see you are still
around and still posting!

Take care,
Krypto

Unfortunately I think you have mistaken me for a different two-headed
alien megalomaniac. Don't panic though, I can tell you are a hoopy
frood who really knows where his towel is! Hope to see you around at
the Big Bang Burger Bar. Later man!

That's nothing to worry about. Two heads are said to be better than
one.

That's right, but he never asked about prerequisites, just whether there
have been any recent updates in general.

Earlier this week it downloaded about 150+MB of updates. I am guessing
that is because I did a clean install recently. Like a week ago.
