SOLVED windows fax & scan does not recognize my network fax

I have a Canon multifunction network printer (MF4770n) which includes fax capabilities. Can I use Windows Fax and Scan (WFS) to send/receive faxes on this network printer/fax/scanner?

The reason I ask is because WFS can be used with a fax server. WFS requires I enter the fax server address. But my computer is running Win7 Ultimate x64 - which is not a fax server. I know very little about working with servers. Can I use WFS to send/receive faxes with my MF4770n and, if so, what must I do to configure my computer?

It appears the MF4770n cannot receive a fax and upload the fax to the computer. That is, a fax can only be received and printed using the MF4770n. So Windows Fax and Scan cannot be used with this multifunction printer.

It is possible to send a fax from the computer but not the reverse.
