I am running windows 7 and can not create restore point keep getting error...I have tried all the solutions I could find but still get this error An error was detected in volume shadow copy service (vss) writers. (0x80042318)
think it might have something to do with c drive partitions, for some reason I have 3 primary partitions on it...
They are
1- *:System Reserved - Capacity 313.74mb - Used 25.73mb - Unused 288.01mb - NTFS Type Primary - Status - none
2 - c: - Capacity 231.37gb - Used 198.19gb - Unused 33.18gb - NTFS Type Primary - Status - Active & Boot & System
3 - *: New Volume - Capacity 1.21gb - Used 560.87mb - Unused 678.52mb NTFS Type Primary - Status - none

Not sure what no 3 partition is unless it is to do with Acronus True Image which I used a while ago...
might be how I can not do a system restore or create system restore...
any help appreciated
