First of all I apologise if this is in the wrong section I leave it up to the mods to leave or move as per pro.

I installed Windows 7 32bit over XP on an AS Rock my friend wanted it to run faster.

So I said that you would need more RAM and a better processor after doing a bit of digging I found that this particular model of motherboard would not support much more speed and the extra RAM would not do it justice.

So I have now got the following;

  • ASUS H110M

  • Intel i3-7100 3.9GHz

  • DDR 4 2133Mhz 8GB
The problem is I have tried to run the Motherboard DVD and it will not recognise it.

I have tried to find the “D” drive in the command prompt and it’s not there.

I have even tried “system repair” and that did not work either.

I have even tried “system restore” and that did not work either.

Any help would be much appreciated.
