Linux just does everything I need[...]
Your needs must be very rudimentary.
That's true of a lot of people actually.
Although what's still unaddressed is just what am I supposed to be
missing exactly? I've got copies of Windows 7 and Snow Leopard and no
interest in running either one of them. Linux simply does not look bad
next to them (despite all the lies to the contrary).
You and your butt-buddy lying linturd FUD spreading assholes are the
real sterling examples of TROLLS!
I agree Linux is growing in the backroom but not on the desktop,
advocates have been saying this is the Year of Desktop Linux,
Pretty sure they don't think with a single mind.
He probably can't given the mess he inherited and the republicans desire
to see the country collapse rather than work with a democrat.
Prediction: the Dems will win big in November and hold both houses.
RonB pulled this Usenet face plant:
As much as Microsoft bugs me, they are far from inconsequential, even
ignoring Windows (and MS Office and the "apps" that can be written with
it).
That was sarcasm.

Are you so ignorant that you've not heard of a filibuster?
The dems had 60 votes. How could a filibuster stop them?
bugbuster said:They only had 60 votes for a short time. And the Republicans used
blocks and secret blocks to bring the Senate to a halt. The crazy
Senate rules allow a single senator to block a vote (even a vote for
cloture) without having to identify himself.
Wrong.
Are you so ignorant that you've not heard of a filibuster?
I understood that -- just making my point that it doesn't matter who is
there. Both Republicans and Democrats are crooked sell-outs.
Which is why I wrote "becoming" inconsequential. You'll have to admit
their "big events" are not nearly as big as they used to be.
