Recently I've noticed that when booting into Windows that the new sexy Windows 7 splash screen has changed to the old boring Vista style green moving stripe.
Does anyone know how to get it back?

I've tried looking through various settings but just can't see it anywhere :(

I was playing with my video drivers the other day - maybe this has something to do with it?

Thanks in advance

Splash fix

I had the same problem and worked the first time using the above link. However I did notice that my C:\Boot directory was missing the folder en-us (or what ever country you need). There is a copy of en-us directory in C:\Windows\boot just copy this to C:\Boot and then run command line bcdboot. To view the above directorys you will need to change the show hidden files radio button and uncheck show system files just below.
Hope running this way helps you out.

If you are still stuck, take at look this thread HERE.

What is interesting is the reference to the Windows 7 loading screen having a minimum native resolution of 1024x768. Any lower, you get the Vista screen.
