So, I've reverted back to Windows 7 after trying out Windows 10 (not a good fit for this PC).

Doing so, I've noted that when I'm changing the volume levels from my keyboard, the green volume indicator bar at the lower right side of the screen will no longer display.

I've tried turning off and back on the Notification Icon settings, but to no avail. I also attempted reverting to default settings, but nothing changes.

Any thoughts out there from someone who understands more about this than I?

Any help would be appreciated.

This would probably be a program that came with your computer. W10 has an option to disable startup programs that slow down the boot and it may have been disabled. So it may still be on your computer and you simply need to add it back to the startup or enable it.

Re-installing it may work & might be the easiest to try. You would need to go to the W7 drivers page for your specific computer and download & install it.
