I'm using Windows Mail in Windows 7, and I'm trying to help people in my
same situation. So what's wrong about that? and How does that make me a
troll?

Please think twice before insulting me or other people without any reason,
because that's what trolls do. That said, I will not answer to any more
flames.

Nah, SiSilver isn't a troll, just a little agitated/annoyed :)

I use Windows Live Mail, it isn't perfect, but hey, what is.
When I installed Windows 7 and everything was in place. I clicked on the
Mail button on my keyboard and not a lot happened, then I found out I
needed to download/install Windows Live Mail.

It all works, not as easy to use as Outlook Express, but it's ok.
I can talk to people, they can talk to me, that's all I need :)

You didn't have to install the whole package. All you had to do was pick
the components you wanted, or uncheck the ones you didn't want. I didn't
install anything except the mail and news clients and left the rest in the
package.
Yes that is what I would have expected (and was led to believe).
But I examined every option offered and none of them included
the ability to download/install selective apps. :-(
Sometimes I wonder if MS got rid of all of their usability experts.

Did you get it here? http://download.live.com/
You can individually choose the components you want instead of downloading
the whole package.

Yes. That is where I got it. I don't know that is is available
anywhere else?

On that page, there is only one [Download] button.
There are no selection options for which program you want.
The only option is for language.

Yes. that's right. Download the file, and when you double-click on it, THEN
it gives you the options of what modules to install.
