I have found and bought a driver (2KXP_INF.rar) "un-rarred" using Extract Frog and now im running my VGA monitor from the Radeon 9250 256mb AGP - great - but it is only recognised by Speccy as: "16MB Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (Connect3D)" - this cant be right.

and Device Manager says "unsupported standard game port" but "device is working properly" and says the most up to date driver is installed.

Have I bought the wrong driver?

I ended up buying the driver because AMD Catalyst didnt work saying:

"Setup failed to launch installation engine:

class not registered." and on another occasion failed to determine OS.

Ive been banging my head for a while now... what am i missing?????

Thanks in advance

Thanks ZigZag that might explain it - I think ive sorted it now.

I bought a similar Card and the driver that came with that seems to be doing the trick.

Cheers
