Can you supply a little more information on your hardware.

  • Do you have a desktop or laptop?
  • What brand and model is your sound hardware?
  • What drivers are you using?
People would need to know this type of information in order to begin assisting you.

Thanks,

There can be issues when there are 2 sound cards being used. When you install your separate sound card, do you have a way to turn off the onboard sound in your Bios?

All mobo BIOS that I'm aware of give you the option to turn off the onboard sound chip. Do that and you should be okay.
