no sound

i just installed windows 7 but there is no sound. there is a red mark on the sound icon and it is saying no audio output device installed. what do i do?

Install sound drivers. You should be able to download them from your computer's manufacturer's website.

I would be very careful if updating the realtek sound drivers as ive had problems where there was no sound at all...just my two cents worth.:D
