Hi nevica.

STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Usual causes:
Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

Your latest dump file lists ntkrnlmp.exe as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

As a Priority:

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on Windows 7 systems. Suggest that you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system (32 or 64 bit).
If you have AVG ID protection installed, download the AVGID Protection Remover from the above link as well (it wouldn't hurt to download and run it anyway). Download BSOD friendly Microsoft Security Essentials as AVG's replacement. Uninstall AVG through the Control Panel. Re-boot to Safe Mode and run the AVG Removal tool(s). Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

Update:

MBfilt64.sys Fri Jul 31 04:40:32 2009 File labelled as Creative Audio Driver. Realtek HiDefinition Audio R 2.63 (Latest Nov. 2009 ?!?).

Abyssus.sys Fri Oct 30 02:53:48 2009 Check for updates for Razer Abyssus.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffffaa00a05e580, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff8000327c284, address which referenced memory

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

Thanks Elmer, I think it is the AVG software. The BSOD started after this installation. Up to then my installation has been stable.

Just a quick question. Where is your evidence that AVG causes blue screens? Is there a URL about this?

Can you tell me what versions of the Asus PCProbe Utility and other ASUS hardware monitoring stuff you have? For curiosity.

Hi Elmer,

I removed all Asus drivers when I changed my motherboard to an MSI mobo.

When I did this I found that I had a stable operating system (ie no BSOD) until I installed AVG!!!!

On that basis, these two drivers belong to the above two mentioned Utils.
AsIO.sys Tue Aug 24 02:53:02 2010
AsUpIO.sys Tue Aug 03 03:47:59 2010

You may want to rename them by changing their file extension to .bak or something. If all OK after a couple/few days you could remove them.

What is the .bak extension. Why change the extension to .bak?

OK, thanks for info. Those two escaped the file removal process.

Just a backup. You could change it to .xyz if you liked. It just "breaks" the drivers and stops them, or anything that's associated with them, from loading / starting. :)

Hello Elmer,

I removed AVG without going into safe mode. "I didn't read your instructions, sorry".

I removed with AVGID removal tool and it seems I still have some left over AVG files as they appear when I run Chrome.

Any idea how I get rid of these?

It will be OK to run the 64bit AVG Remover and AVGID Protection Remover in Safe Mode now. Will still clean up. You don't want "dregs" messing with your new AV.
