network printers

I just purchased two new Dell computers both with windows 7. Dell tech support had me re-install OS because of a windows installer problem. NOW, my networked printer cannot be read or seen from my lap top which is networked and works great except for the network printer.

when trying to access a computer on my home network i get a pop up asking me to enter network password, i don't have one
