I upgraded from Win7 Home Premium to Professional in hopes of retaining use of several old programs. The aging msdos program MoonCalc 6.0 will run in full-screen mode on my WinXP computer (which I had hoped to replace entirely). It will run in the WinXP mode on my Win7 Pro box, but will not run in full-screen mode. I tried using 2 different types of monitors, but "no joy". I get the error:
"16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
The video device failed to initialize for full-screen mode."
Is an alternative device driver available that will allow such?

I second that, it will likely run right under W7 in a DOSbox, no virtual XP needed.
