I use Autohide taskbar option, which as most users know doesn't always work and your windows can end up behind it. Add to this that I like my taskbar at the top. Now sometimes I may have multiple browser windows open (and multiple tabs open in each). With Firefox if I close using the upper right X it simply closes that window but if that is covered and I use the File - Exit the dang application closes EVERY FF window! I see this as a programming flaw and I can tell you IE doesn't work like that. Is there an option to change this? (I'm not looking for other ways to do this - I am looking for a way to make the exit function as I believe it should)

While I'm on the subject of Firefox, is there a way to do like Accelerators do in IE. In IE6 I used to write my own right-click options to do something similar so I've been used to right-clicking on selected text for a while and I'm not sure what it would be called in FF or how to enable it.

Well I found that I need to use file - close window instead of file - exit and that does as I desire. It's not a solution but I have become used to it.

And yes there is an adequate Firefox add-in similar to IE accelerators ... it's call cleeki

Here is a list of the accelerator settings I added. To write your own, "[kw]" is the parameter cleeki replaces with your highlighted text when calling the site. The hardest part was often finding the favicon on the website. And supposedly you can import ie8 accelorators but I have yet to find a way to make this work. Note: I do not use the channel preview option so I have it set to the same as my Channel search URL.

Thank you for trying but I went through the about:config options before posting and I couldn't find any for that. The other thing I would like to change is when I hit the X in the corner and I have multiple windows open that it offers to just close the current one (like IE) but this doesn't seem to be possible either.
