SOLVED Error while installing MS Office 2007

Hi,

I'm unable to install MS-Office 2007 into my PC

Error during setup:-
Error 1606. Could not access network location %APPDATA%\.

What does this error mean , do i need to edit anything under register file(regedit) ?

APPDATA is an environment variable.

Assuming your W7 login is kiran then the value of %appdata% would be:
C:\Users\Kiran\AppData\Roaming
... so make sure these folders exist.

If you drop into a command prompt you can type:
echo %appdata%
to verify the environment variable is set properly.

If you have moved these system folders or the environment variable is set wrong that would be the issue.
