Running Win 7 SP1 Home Prem.

My main drive is an SSD.
I also have 2 standard HDD's - one for my back ups (documents, music, etc) and another where I send my weekly images (I use Acronis True Image).

I may need to swap out these two HDD's for a bigger one. Should I use a Defrag program before I copy the files to the new drive(s) ?

Oh to complicate further - the HDD which stores my documents- I that partitioned into Two - one is the actual documents and the other for where I copy my Library folders to and my iTunes folders.

Thx

Kind of be a waste of time, unless you intended to keep the drives as another form of backup.
