Damaged .pst file, how to repair???

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the best way of repairing a 0.5GB .pst file? I had tried the normal ways through outlook and was just wondering if anybody knew of any other other apps whether they are freeware or otherwise?

Jason, I have never used anything but outlook itself. Since you are open to paid software, I would recommend a search for "repair PST" in a normal search engine.

This post can invite SPAM of paid software so I am going to have to shut the thread down.
